The Asian Cricket Council has announced the venues and formats for the next two Asia Cups.
At the same time, two different Bangladeshi Cricket teams will visit Pakistan. Bangladesh A Cricket team will vist Pakistan in the first week of August. They will play 4 Day match from 10 August. Both the teams will also play 3 Day Cricket matches alongside with 1 Day Cricket matches. Apart from this, the main Bangladesh Test team will tour to Pakistan and they will arrived on 17 August. The first Test match between Bangladesh and Pakistan will start from 21 August. Pakistan is expected make some changes in their Test squad for their series against Bangladesh.

Asia Cup 2025: Format and Venue
The Asian Cricket Council has decided that India will host the Asia Cup 2025. The format for this Asia Cup is T20. The logic behind this is the T20 WC which will be played on 2026. This will help the Asian teams to prepare for the T20 World Cup 2026.
Asia Cup 2027: Format and Venue
Bangladesh Cricket Board will host the 2027 Asia Cup. This Asia Cup will be played in a One Day format keeping in view the ODI World Cup 2027.
Previous Asia Cup 2023:
Pakistan Cricket Board was set to host the Asia Cup 2023. But, India didn't agreed to tour Pakistan for this Asia Cup tournament. They said that India will play Asia Cup in a neutral venue, rather than playing in Pakistan. After all, the decision was taken that the matches of India will be played on a neutral venue which was Sri Lanka. Pakistan also hosted some matches in their country. Pakistan and India faced two teams in that tournament. One match was washed out due to rain while the other match was won by India single handedly. India also won that Asia Cup. They beat Sri Lanka in the final. They completely dominated the Sri Lanka in the final. Shubman gill was the top run scorer in this Asia Cup. He scored 302 runs in 6 matches at an average of 75.50. Pakistan's Captain Babar Azam was only played one good innings in which he scored 151 runs against Nepal in the opening match of this Asia Cup. Matheesha Pathirana was the leading wicket taker with 11 wickets in that tournament.
