India beat Zimbabwe in third T20I by 23 runs

In the ongoing India vs Zimbabwe T20I series, India beat Zimbabwe in the third T20I by 23 runs. 


Zimbabwe had a phenomenal match in the first encounter of the series. Zimbabwe won the first T20I by 13 runs. India suffered from first defeat after a T20 world cup victory. But, the men in blue came back strongly. The men in blue won the 2nd T20I by a huge margin of 100 runs. In the T20, India won their game in the ongoing T20 series. 


India Batting Performance:

Indian openers gave a good start to India in the third T20I. Captain Shubman gill who couldn't performed well in the first two matches, made a good comeback in third match. He made 66 runs in 49 balls at a strike rate of 134. Alongside with Shubman gill, Yashawi Jaiswal made a good contribution. He scored 36 runs. Abhishek Sharma who scored a fantastic hundred in the second match, couldn't scored much in third match. Raturaj Gaikwad played a very useful knock. He scored 49 runs in just 28 deliveries. After a good innings by a couple of batsman's, India managed to put a fighting total against Zimbabwe in third T20I. India gave Zimbabwe 183 runs target in 20 overs. 


Zimbabwe Bowling Performance: 

Zimbabwe's Captain and star All Rounder Sikanadar Raza showed yet another brilliant performance with the ball. Sikandar Raza took two important wickets of yashawi jaiswal and Abhishek Sharma. He conceded runs at an economy rate of 6 in his four overs quota. Blessing Muzarabani also bowler very well. He conceded 25 runs and took two wickets in his four overs spell. Brian Bennett went expensive in his over. 


Zimbabwe Batting Performance: 

In the response of 183 runs target, Zimbabwe started very poor with the bat. They lost first 5 wickets under 40 runs. But, then Dion Myers and Clive Madande scored a magnificent partnership together and backed Zimbabwe in the game. Dion Myers pkayed a brilliant knock of 65 runs. He was remained not out at the end. Wicketkeeper Clive Madande supported Dion very well. He socred 37 runs in just 26 balls. In the end, Zimbabwe were 23 runs short. 


India Bowling Performance: 

Indian bowlers were on top in the powerplay. They dominated the first 6 overs. Khaleel Ahmed bowled economic spell and also took one wicket. Spinner Ravi Bishnoi conceded 37 and went wicketless in his four overs. Washington Sundar had an amazing match with the ball in hand. He was the top performer from india in the bowling unit. He dismissed Sikandar Raza, Jonathan Campbell, and Clive Madande. Due to a good Bowling Performance by india in the first and last few overs, they restricted Zimbabwe to 159 runs. 


After bowled a superb bowling spell, Washington Sundar declared man of the match.
