India won by 10 Wickets against Zimbabwe in the fourth T20I
India completely dominated Zimbabwe in the fourth T20I and lead the T20I series 3-1.
Zimbabwe put December target, but India's opener easily chased it Ãn 15.2 overs with all 10 Wickets in hand. Although, the last T20I match between India and Zimbabwe will be played on 14 july, but India already won the T20I series after a stunning show with the bat in fourth T20I.
Zimbabwe Batting Performance:
Zimbabwe Openers batted at a slow strike rate. They didn't played attacking shots against indian bowlers. They didn't use full advantage of power play. Madhevere managed to score only 25 runs off 24 deliveries. T Marumani also played with a strike rate of around 100. However, Star All Rounder Sikandar Raza played attacking cricket as always. He played a good innings of 46 runs on just 28 balls with the help of 3 sixes and 2 boundaries. His attacking innings helped Zimbabwe to post 152 runs on the board. They gave 153 runs target to india.
India Bowling Performance:
All players of India took at least one wicket except Ravi Bishnoi who went wicketless in his four overs. Khaleel Ahmed got a couple of wickets. He took the wickets of Dion Myers and Clive Madande in his four overs quota. Tushar Deshpande, on his debut, took a big wicket of Sikandar Raza. Abhishek Sharma who scored a magnificent century in the 2nd T20I, provded a breakthrough with the ball. While Shivam dube and Washington Sundar also managed to get a wicket.
India Batting Performance:
Indian Openers completely dominated the Zimbabwe bowlers. A young and fearless opener Yashawi Jaiswal played a brilliant knonk. He scored 93 runs in just 53 balls with the help of 2 sixes and 13 boundaries. Shubman gill who scored a fifty in the third T20I, also managed to smash yet another fifty in the fourth T20I. Both the openers played magnificently well. Both the openers scored 150+ partnership together for the second time.
In the previous year, they scored 165 runs partnership against West Indies. Also, this was only the fifth time when Indian Openers put a 150 runs opening stand. This was also the highest partnership for india in winning cause in T20I.
Zimbabwe Bowling Performance:
Zimbabwe bowlers didn't got a single wicket of the indian players. The captain Sikandar Raza went wicketless in his 2 overs. Indian Openers easily smashed every bowler of Zimbabwe. Although Zimbabwe posted an average score on this venue, but their bowlers didn't bowled well. Due to a poor bowling performance, they allowed india to reach the required target in just 15.2 overs.
Due to his explosive 93 runs knock, Yashaswi Jaiswal was awarded with the man of the match award.
The 5th and the last match of the T20I series between India and Zimbabwe will be played today at Harare.
