India won the the T20I Series 4-1 against Zimbabwe

India won the last match of the T20I series comprehensively with 42 runs. They outclassed Zimbabwe in all three formats. Although, India played with the young players, but they are enough to won the series 4-1 against Zimbabwe. 

After Rohit Sharma and Virat kohli announced tgeir retirement from T20I, Shubman gill was called to lead the indian side in T20I series against Zimbabwe. Shubman gill leaded from the front through the series. India tried their bench strength, and they didn't disappoint. 

India Batting Performance: 

India had batted first in last match. India started the last match with their young Openers Yashawi and Shubman gill. Young gun Yashawi Jaiswal created the world record on the very first ball of the match. He becames the first batter to smash two sixes on the first ball of the T20I Innings. Later, he was dismissed by Sikandar Raza after smashing 2 sixes. Captain Shubman gill and Abhishek Sharma also didn't batted too long. Wicketkeeper Sanju Samson batted really well under pressure. He played a brilliant 58 runs knock. Shivam Dube played a handy cameo. He scored 26 runs off just 12 balls with the help of 2 sixes and 2 fours. At the end of 20 overs, india managed to score 167 runs. They gave 168 runs target to Zimbabwe to won the last T20I match. 


Zimbabwe Bowling Performance: 

Blessing Muzarabani was the top performer with the ball. He bowled 4 overs and conceded only 19 runs. He also took the wickets of Abhishek Sharma and Sanju Samson in his four overs. Captain Sikandar Raza, Richard Ngarava, and Brandon Mavuta took one wicket each. While Faraz Akram went wicketless in his four overs. 

Zimbabwe Batting Performance: 

Zimbabwe started the chase with Madhevere got out on 0. Zimbabwe needed a decent partnership to meet the given target. T Marumani got out after scoring 27 runs. Dion Myers was the top scorer with 34 runs. Captain Sikandar Raza was unfortunately got run out after scoring 8 runs off 12 deliveries. Faraz Akram smashed 27 runs on just 13 balls with the help of 2 boundaries and 2 maximums. But, it was not enough to chase the required target. Thus, Zimbabwe managed to score only 125 and lost the last T20I match. 


India Bowling Performance: 

Mukesh Kumar had a great match. He was the top wicket taker for India in this match. Mukesh Kumar bowled 3.3 overs in which he conceded 22 runs and also took 4 important wickets. His sensational bowling spell helped india to won the last T20I match. He also became the 4th Indian quick to take most wickets in a bilateral T20I series. He took a total of 8 wickets in this series. Shivam Dube managed to took a couple of wickets. 

On the basis of All Round Performance from Shivam Dube, he was given man of the match award. 

On the other hand, Washington Sundar took Player of the Series award.
